Movie News For The Week

Pretty much everyone likes sitting around watching movies. They’re a great way to forget all about your responsibilities. Once the movie has concluded, you’re going to feel refreshed. Those worries, concerns, and stresses will diminish. At the same time, movies can be very eye opening. They’re insightful and give you the chance to see things from a different point of view. Well, those movies can create some interesting news and it may or may not have anything to do with the storyline. Within this guide, you’re going to learn about the hottest movie news for the week.

Netflix Originals

During the past few years, Netflix has really transformed itself into a powerhouse in the entertainment sector. It is tough to find consumers in the United States who do not have Netflix. It is really that popular. So, what makes it so popular? Well, one of the biggest things is the fact that Netflix is consistently releasing new movies and television shows. Just this week, the company announced that it would be releasing a whole bunch of original shows and movies in the near future. Next month, the company will be releasing 44 original movies and shows. That is fewer than the month before. Still, it is pretty impressive when you consider that the competition doesn’t release nearly as many.

Some of the movies and shows that you’ll want to check out include The Last Czars, Cities of Last Things, Family Reunion, and Kidnapping Stella.

The Witches And A Stabbing

Also this week, it was announced that a crew member had been stabbed on the set of The Witches. News broke recently that the crew member was hospitalized after they were stabbed in the next. It all went down at the Warner Brothers Studios in Leavesden, England. The venue has become incredibly famous. After all, it is the location where the entire Harry Potter film was shot. It has also been reported that a man is in custody and his arrest is linked to the stabbing. It is believed that the men knew each other. It is unknown whether or not the movie is going to be postponed due to the incident. However, it doesn’t appear that the stabbing cause that much of a stir on set.

WWE And Netflix

Meanwhile, World Wrestling Entertainment has announced that it will be creating a movie with help from Netflix. The live-action family movie is going to be called The Main Event. It will be directed by Jay Karas. So far, the story sounds pretty interesting. The film follows an 11-year-old who is dead set on becoming a wrestler in the future. When he finds a magical mask, it appears that his dreams may come to fruition much sooner. The boy enters into a competition to become a superstar with the WWE. It has been announced that several of the biggest superstars from wrestling will appear in the movie.

They include Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, and The Miz. The only thing better than watching wrestling is winning at poker. So, when you stop playing free online pokies games, you’ll definitely want to check out The Main Event.

Netflix Scores Big With Sandler And Aniston

Adam Sandler and Netflix have been in a deal for many years now. However, most of the movies produced by the combination have been downright horrible. They certainly haven’t justified paying Sandler the big bucks. Well, that may have changed with the release of Murder Mystery, which stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. The film follows Sandler’s character as he takes his wife to Europe. During the trip, a billionaire is murdered and the couple is blamed. Can they discover the truth and clear their names? So far, the movie has been a big hit.

During the first three days after the movie’s release, it had already been watched by nearly 31 million people. That makes it the most successful opening for any Netflix movie. This is definitely a sign of things to come for the streaming giant.

There are plenty of good movies right around the corner. If you’re looking for some of the best, you would be wise to keep an eye on Netflix. There is a good chance that this streaming powerhouse will be releasing a few good originals next month.
