1-2-3 Game On: Which Apps Are Android Users Looking Forward To?

This year, we’re going to see plenty of exciting new games for Android. But which titles are the users looking forward to the most? Find out in the list below!

Assassin's Creed Rebellion

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion will be released later this year. This is going to be a free-to-play mobile game for iOS and Android.

Setting the scenery in the Spanish Inquisition, are you ready to engage in some strategic thinking to outsmart your foes? Manage your base of operations, recruit new assassins, and play with your favorite characters from the Assassin’s Creed series, including Ezio and Shao Jun.

Runescape

Everyone is familiar with this famous MMORPG game that has been around almost since the dawn of time. Not surprising, it’s still doing quite fine, and the developers have decided it’s time to bring it to the Android smartphones.

The feature that people are the most excited to see is the cross-platform play between mobile and PC users. You will even be able to pick off where you left the game-state on one device and continue on the other.

The game will be released later this year or in early 2018.

Legend of Zelda

In the late 2017 / early 2018, Nintendo will be bringing the ever-popular Zelda franchise to the iOS and Android app marketplace.

The details regarding the new game are still somewhat shrouded in mystery, but it’s being suggested that the controls will be designed in a simpler manner in order to make them a better fit for mobile devices.

The Sims Mobile

The Sims are finally coming to Android! But this isn’t going to be some watered-down mobile version of the original game either. Although the controls needed to be adjusted to fit the touch-screen, the developers have promised that the gameplay will closely resemble that of the original Mac and PC versions.

Design your own characters and the house they inhabit. The game also has several social elements to it, allowing the players to interact between one another. Although the game is already available in Brazil, the rest of the world will have to wait a while longer, possibly until early 2018.

The Bunker

For those of you who can’t satisfy your thirst for horror games, are you willing to dive into this live action game and see if you can survive? The emphasis is on making quick decisions. The game will be released until the end of 2017.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War

This action roleplaying game will be coming out on Android as well in the form of a free-to-play top-down game on the 10th of October 2017. This is a true fan-service to all of the Lord of the Rings fans on which the storyline is based on. Currently, it’s one of the most anticipated titles.

An Honorable Mention...

Although it’s already out there, this recently released title has set the golden standards in terms of the Android game quality we can expect in the future. If you want to see what it’s all about, feel free to visit the Final Fantasy XV Official Site.
