Edgar Wright Leaves Ant-Man 
The biggest story in the GeekWorld was the announcement that director Edgar Wright had departed the Ant-Man movie. Social media went into meltdown with speculation about the creative differences between Marvel and him.
DAREDEVIL Loses Showrunner Gains Star
DAREDEVIL showrunner Drew Goddard (BUFFY, LOST), was replaced over the holiday weekend by SPARTACUS (and Buffy) alum Steven S. DeKnight. Goddard is not completely gone and will continue as an Executive Producer and Consultant. His next big project will be to write and helm the AMAZING SPIDER-MAN spin-off THE SINISTER SIX.
Netflix will be showing the 13 episodes of DAREDEVIL along with other Marvel properties JESSICA JONES, IRON FIST, LUKE CAGE and THE DEFENDERS in the future.
DAREDEVIL did finally announce who will headline as blind attorney Matt Murdock/Daredevil ... Charlie Cox (BOARDWALK EMPIRE).

Although in the USA the $111m opening weekend will have to settle for second place (behind the $122.9m debut of 2006′s X-MEN: THE LAST STAND), its $302 million worldwide makes it likely it will surpass the franchise record of $459.3m held by Last Stand.
BRUTICUS UNVEILED
Next month, Edge of Reality’s TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE DARK SPARK will be realeased. They released a new trailer showing the creation of Bruticus.The Combaticons Swindle, Brawl, Onslaught, Blast Off, and Vortex combine to create Bruticus, a devastating Decepticon with incredible power! TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE DARK SPARK will be available on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U, and 3DS on June 24th.
SONS OF ANARCHY Season 7 Begins Shooting

Landon Donovan Ignored By USA Coach 
Everyone is now a soccer expert after USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann decided that the most famous USA player, Landon Donovan, would not be in the 23 man squad heading to Brazil. Landon responded by breaking the MLS scoring record at the weekend. Team USA responded by putting in a horrible performance while beating European minnows Azerbaijan 2-0 last night.
