Stranger Comics is teaming up with film producer Lloyd Levin to form Foundry Comics, a partnership that aims to create original properties to be developed as both comic books and feature films.
Foundry Comics plans to publish between four and six graphic novels a year covering a range of genres, many of which will be spun into films. Levin told Variety that, for some properties, the comic books and screenplays will be written concurrently.
Foundry is currently developing OFFWORLD by David Johnson, based on Johnson's original screenplay. A feature adaptation of OFFWORLD, with Julian Gilbey in the director's seat, is in pre-production.
