First Look At Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

Entertainment Weekly has posted the first official photo of Gemma Arterton and Jeremy Renner as the grown-up fairly tale siblings in HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS. As the title implies, the duo star as the adult versions of Hansel and Gretel, who become bounty hunters after surviving their traumatic childhood encounter with the cannabalistic witch.
The aesthetics of the costumes - not to mention the very blunt title - point to the movie being a very fun, perhaps cheeky action flick with a fable bent to it. If it takes itself too seriously, there is no way it's going to succeed. But if it has the right amount of self-aware humor, HANSEL & GRETEL just might satisfy.
HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS is slated for release on March 2, 2012.
