Legendary Pictures To Announce MASS EFFECT Film At Comic-Con

If you've been waiting for months, nay, years, for even the tiniest morsel of information regarding a possible MASS EFFECT movie, then this year's San Diego Comic-Con should make you jump for joy, among other things.

Legendary Pictures is slated to announce that it is developing a MASS EFFECT movie, with THOR and I AM LEGEND screenwriter Mark Protosevich penning the script. With a writer on board, it feels that much more real.

     Here is the official word:

For the first time ever, Legendary Entertainment will hold a standalone panel to provide the Comic-Con® International audience with an early look at some of the films from Legendary’s upcoming slate. On Friday, July 22nd, audience participants will have the opportunity to attend an engaging panel consisting of cast and filmmakers from upcoming Legendary films including PACIFIC RIM, SEVENTH SON and PARADISE LOST, all to be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, as well as MASS EFFECT.

     Is it July 22 yet?
