Harrison Ford isn't finished with the cowboy role once COWBOYS AND ALIENS hits theaters this Friday. The actor has signed on to play an aging Wyatt Earp in Thunder Road and Kickstart Production's adaptation of Max Allan Collins's novel BLACK HATS, according to Heat Vision.
BLACK HATS tells the story of Wyatt Earp in his later years. While working as a private detective and a movie consultant in Los Angeles, he learns that the son of his old friend, Doc Holliday, has gotten into trouble with Al Capone in New York.
300 co-writer Kurt Johnstad will pen the script.
