Legendary Pictures' comic book publishing offshoot, Legendary Comics, will release Frank Miller's HOLY TERROR as its first publication, Heat Vision reports.
Miller initially conceived HOLY TERROR as a Batman story about the Dark Knight taking on the terrorists responsible for the 9/11 attacks, but DC rejected the idea. Miller has since reworked the concept, introducing the Fixer as its protagonist.
According to Legendary Comics, "[t]he graphic novel is a no-holds-barred action thriller told in Miller’s trademark high-contrast, black-and-white visual style, which seizes the political zeitgeist by the throat and doesn’t let go until the last page."
HOLY TERROR is due out in stores September 14.
