One thing that many comic book readers had been wondering about the DC reboot is what would happen to the GREEN LANTERN and BATMAN, INC. mythos that have been developed in recent years. Would they be carried over into the new issue ones, or be disregarded completely? We then learned that Geoff Johns plans to carry over much of his work on GREEN LANTERN into the new series, but BATMAN, INC. still hung in the balance. Until now.
Grant Morrison said that BATMAN, INC. will not be rebooted in September. Instead, the series will wrap up at the tenth issue and go on a hiatus until early 2012, when it will return once more with Morrison at the helm and a new number one.
Batman, Incorporated will continue through to Issue #10 and August’s shocking season finale that changes the Batman status quo yet again. The series will take a brief hiatus while I work on a major new project to be announced shortly. Batman, Incorporated returns next year with me, Chris Burnham and Batman: Leviathan, the epic 12 part conclusion to my 6 year Batman saga. Don’t miss it!
It looks like there is a method to DC's madness after all. Look for more news about the DC reboot right here at GeekWeek!
