The season is almost half over and we are all reviewing our rosters, moves, injuries, mistakes, etc. There is always more blame than praise in the evaluation, whether you’re winning or losing. Some of you can blame your draft. Some of you can blame injuries. A lot of you can look back at how you neglected to go to the wire and grab the next big thing or how you just haven’t bothered to try to trade your way to a better team. And of course, there is always the value in reading this stuff to prep a little better:
BARGAIN ON a WIRE: Alcides Escobar is one of the hotter players out there right now, toiling at SS for KC… Roger Bernadina is an outfielder with some speed playing for the Nationals on a regular basis… Colorado outfielder Seth Smith is on a roll… After a CG win over Philly the other day, Seattle pitcher Jason Vargas is flying off the shelf… Though not being picked up a lot, Yankee SP Ivan Nova is having success…
