Duncan Jones Close To Directing THE WOLVERINE?

With Darren Aronofsky out of the picture, the search is on for a director to helm Fox's THE WOLVERINE.

The names of Duncan Jones and David Slade have been tossed around as possible contenders to take on the project, but we now have confirmation that at least one of those men is, in fact, meeting with Fox about the film.

According to Ain't It Cool News, Jones said at a SOURCE CODE Q&A in London that he will soon be taking a meeting with Fox to discuss the possibility of directing THE WOLVERINE.

While we won't know what the outcome of that meeting will be for some time, we do know some things about the movie. It's a loose adaptation of Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's 1982 WOLVERINE miniseries, which takes Logan to the Tokyo crime underworld.
