AT&T To Acquire T-Mobile

That's right folks, it appears that T-Mobile will be going the way of the dinosaur. According to Endgadget, AT&T is in talks to buy the rival telecom for $39 Billion from Deutsche Telekom. If the deal closes and passes regulatory oversight, AT&T will have a monopoly in the US as the only GSM provider and be responsible for 130 million customers. However, speculation is that it may take at least a year before this officially goes through. If you're a T-Mobile user -- be prepared.
