Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XIII-2 today at a conference in Japan. This marks only the 2nd time a direct sequel to a Final Fantasy title has been released. It is slated for a 2011 release in Japan and a launch between December 2011 and March 2012 for the US and Europe for XBOX 360 and PS3.
