Top VG Casting Director Brigitte Burdine Killed In Wednesday Morning Hit-and-Run

The video game industry lost one of its own yesterday.

Brigitte Burdine, one of the most powerful and respected women in the vg industry, was senselessly killed by a Hit-and-Run driver early Wednesday morning in Playa del Rey.

Police say that at 1:45 a.m., Burdine was on way home from The Shack (a popular late night hangout in Playa del Rey) when she was was struck by a "dark-colored sedan with possible front end damage" while crossing the street at Culver Boulevard and Pershing Drive. Paramedics transported Burdine to a hospital, where she subsequently died soon after.

Involved in the industry for over a decade, Burdine, 48, acquired a MASSIVE list of 38 game titles to her IMDB casting resume (which included the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot).
