The best of the best in the video game world descended upon Los Angeles last night for the 2010 Video Game Awards and boy, was it a doozy!
No surprise that Halo: Reach won Best Multi-player and Call of Duty: Black Ops took home Best Shooter but the REAL belle of the ball at last night's awards HAD to be Rockstar Games/Rockstar San Diego's "Red Dead Redemption", nominated for nine and taking home a whopping four Vector Monkeys (GOTY, Best Song, Best Original Score, and Best DLC - Undead Nightmare).
The one award that was speculated and much debated last night on the red carpet was Most Anticipated. The Vector Monkey went to Portal 2 (Valve), besting Gears of War 3, Batman: Arkham City, and Bioshock: Infinite. (Was anyone else a little surprised that Dead Space 2 didn't make the cut?)
