PORTAL 2 Gets New Ship Date

In a press release issued today, Valve announced that Portal 2 would indeed be available April 20, 2011 for US and Australia with Europe seeing it April 22nd! Woo hoo! Despite missing the original ship date, Valve is more than pleased with the delay only being 2 months behind schedule as this was the shortest delay in the company's history. And because Valve has always shown a great sense of humor, they were sure to let us know that "This two month slip not only marks the shortest delay in Valve's proud tradition of delays, it represents the approaching convergence of Valve Time and Real Time. Though this convergence spells doom for humanity, it will not affect the new Portal 2 release date." Pretty hilair.
(And rest assured that when the game is released, it will be available across all platforms. So if you have Windows, Mac OS X, PS3, or Xbox 360; you're gtg!)
And unlike the above, this is NOT a lie. ha haaaa.
