April Start Date Set For DARK SHADOWS

Warner Bros. is looking to cash in on the current vampire craze with a feature film adaptation of DARK SHADOWS, a gothic vampire soap opera that aired in the late 1960s. The studio has set an April start date for the film's production, according to Heat Vision.
Johnny Depp is set to star as the vampire Barnabas Collins. His longtime collaborator Tim Burton is directing from a script that has seen the pens of both John August and Seth Grahame-Smith.
Christi Dembrowski, Graham King, and Richard Zanuck are producing.
