We got back on track in Baltimore last week, not to mention all four of our other choices also pulled through, so as long as you went with one of our five, you should still be in the hunt.
There are two less games on the schedule this week, so the pickings are thin, despite, we have five nice locks to choose from, starting with the Champs at home.
- New Orleans Saints over Carolina Panthers
- Green Bay Packers over Detroit Lions
- Indianapolis Colts over Jacksonville Jaguars
- New York Jets over Buffalo Bills
- Houston Texans over Oakland Raiders
Coming off a narrow loss at home to divisional rival Atlanta, the Saints should return to offensive form against Carolina, who have allowed Eli Manning, Josh Freeman and Carson Palmer (not a boastable QB stable) to go bonkers on them. Drew Brees and Marques Colston should ignite in this one, even without Reggie Bush, New Orleans will represent home field this week as my sure fire pick.
Green Bay will be back at home in Wisconsin reeling after a tough MNF loss to Chicago and no doubt they will be angry and re-focused. The jingle in Green Bay this week should be "I like chicken, I like liver, meow mix meow mix please deliver!"
While Jacksonville does show up at home against the Colts, a weakened MJD and anemic passing attack makes this one another easy divisional match up lock.
There is a pop sicles chance in hell that Buffalo wins at home against New York, but all sensible logic points to doubtful. They played tough in both match up's against the Jets last year, but neither team is the same as they were last season.
Should you be weary on taking divisional games as locks, with understandable trepidation, we have the Houston Texans traveling to Oakland, where they should toss bombs long enough to be seen in Russia.
