Robert Rodriguez In Negotiations To Direct DEADPOOL

Following last month's rumors that Fox had offered Robert Rodriguez the opportunity to direct DEADPOOL, the LA Times now claims that Rodriguez and the studio are negotiating a deal.
Neither Rodriguez's nor Fox's camp has commented on the development of the project, although the LA Times was able to confirm that Rodriguez received Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick's script in June. Since then, Fox has been courting Rodriguez, and it seems now that the discussion has become much more substantive.
