Heat Vision reports that IDW Publishing's graphic novel LORE will be adapted for the big screen.
Cory Goodman, who wrote the upcoming vampire thriller PRIEST, and Jeremy Lott will pen the script. Goodman will co-produce alongside Mad Chance's Andrew Lazar and Circle of Confusion's Rick Jacobs.
The graphic novel was created by Ashley Wood (who will be an executive producer of the film) and T.P. Louise. It follows the story of a man who joins a secret order that protects humanity from mythological beasts and folklore.
The producers hope to turn LORE into a film franchise similar to MEN IN BLACK.
