Eva Longoria Up For The Wasp In THE AVENGERS?

Fox 411 claims that, according to a source close to the AVENGERS production, Eva Longoria is in negotiations to join the cast as the Wasp.
The source says that Longoria has been taking meetings at Marvel to negotiate the deal. She has already read for the part and screen tested. Marvel liked her so much that she was even invited to do green screen work in the spring.
A Marvel rep says that the casting information is incorrect, but Fox 411's source insists that Longoria will join the rest of the AVENGERS cast when filming begins in New York in the fall.
