Sonic 4 is really shaping up to look like the dream game fans have been demanding for years. And these newest screenshots really freeze time and place a magnifying glass on just how well imagined everything has turned out to be. I mean, whenever I'm running at the speed of sound as the fastest thing a live I don't tend to look around and enjoy the scenery.
From the look of it the stages really do give off that Sonic 1 & 2 vibe. Now let's see if they can mimic the style of gameplay we all enjoyed as kids more than a decade ago. And I wonder ... will Episode 2's visual style copy that of Sonic 3 and S&K? Only time can tell!
