The number one heavyweight in the world today (and possibly of all time) Fedor Emelianenko (32-1-1) finally has another fight in Strikeforce coming up in June against former UFC contender and top 10 ranked Heavyweight Fabricio Werdum (13-4-1).
The winner of the bout is expected to fight the winner of the Josh Barnett and Allistar Overeem fight in the Japanese DREAM organization later in the year with the Strikeforce Heavyweight title possibly on the line.
No word yet if the Fedor/Werdum match will be shown on a Strikeforce CBS airing or if they will try and make a PPV around the showdown. Either way MMA fans should be thrilled to see the top ranked fighter in the world make another rare appearance on US soil again soon.
