A Tool to Deceive and Slaughter (2009) by Caleb Larsen will perpetually sell itself on E-bay

Caleb's cube is perpetually connected to the internet and to Ebay, and continually tries to sell itself. Buying it means you might lose it, though you retain 85% of the purchase price, with Larsen getting 15%. So it could make you money.

More to the point, it is an experience in owning art, a way to be a part of a piece of art in a more compressed ownership lineage. Very cool.

Is it a statement on "what we own?"  Maybe. I don't really know what it is saying, though.  Mostly it seems like a cool experiment.  And it looks like it from the set of Logan's Run.
