MLB: Dawson Makes Hall Of Fame Despite Playing For The Cubs

One of the best complete ballplayers to ever play the game is finally getting his call up to the Hall of Fame.  He played on some horrible teams between the Expos and the Cubs but never let that stop him from turning a double into a triple or tossing out a running trying to do the same.  Congrats Hawk.  Well Deserved

NEW YORK -- Andre Dawson is this year's sole electee to the National Baseball Hall of Fame, it was announced on Wednesday.

Dawson, an outfielder with power, speed and a cannon for an arm, made it on his ninth try, earning 77.9 percent of the votes with 420 of the 539 ballots including his name.
