Actor Rip Torn Arrested

Rip Torn was arrested Friday night for allegedly
breaking into a bank while drunk and armed with a loaded revolver.
State
police responded to an alarm at the Litchfield Bancorp building in
Salisbury, CT at 9:40 PM last night. Police say they found Torn "with a
loaded revolver" and he was "highly intoxicated."

This is very sad news. We are huge fans of Rip Torn over here at GeekWeek.
Torn has had a remarkable run in gruff character roles and his performance as Arthur on the legendary LARRY SANDERS SHOW is one of the greatest television runs by an actor ever. He's also something of a notorious drinker.
We hope this situation is resolved quickly and Torn can recover from whatever set this off.
Maybe he finally watched FREDDY GOT FINGERED?
