Early 3D-conversion tests on Warners’ remake of
“Clash of the Titans” have gone so well that the Burbank
studio has decided to release not only “Titans” but also the two-part
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” in 3D. In a related move, Warners will push back the release date of
“Titans”
one week to April 2. “Deathly Hallows: Part I” is set to unspool on Nov.
19, and “Part II” is slotted for July 15, 2011.
What? I have to wait another week for Clash of the Titans?! Are you
serious?!
Clash of the Titans is one of the few remakes that I'm actually
looking forward to. The original is still one of my favorite movies of
all time, and the remake looks to capture the monsters from the original
flick in bigger and badder ways.
While the Harry Potter movies aren't my cup of tea (my father, however, loves them) I
can already smell the $$$ that these 3-D releases will be printing hand over fist.
