Proposing on TV is a bad idea, right? What if she says no? Well, it's not a problem if you do it on a channel that no one watches.
"So, how did he propose?"
"Oh it was so romantic! He wandered onto the set of the low-rated basic cable station I work for and mumbled something unintelligible on live TV!"
