A well-known hacker has posted the first web-based jailbreaking utility for the iPhone 4.
Comex's JailbreakMe promises to jailbreak your iPhone with a single click, allowing you to access tweaks and apps that Apple does not support. A recent court ruling upheld the legality of jailbreaking, so it is perfectly safe to do so.
As Lifehacker points out, JailbreakMe can also be used to unlock the iPad and any other device that operates iOS.
