With Sam Raimi on board to direct a WORLD OF WARCRAFT movie for Legendary Pictures, Blizzard might want to look into bringing STARCRAFT, its other big property, to the big screen as well.
Blizzard EVP of Game Design Rob Pardo spoke to MTV about the possibility of a STARCRAFT film, which he suggests could happen. Blizzard may already have a filmmaker in mind:
"...It's really important to us that we find creative people that are really talented but also really excited about our properties. That's always been the challenge for us. I think if Jim Cameron came to us tomorrow and said, 'You want to make a 'StarCraft' movie?' we'd probably sign that."
It's your move, Cameron.
