Apple's "Try Before You Buy" Program Lets You Test Paid Apps

Apple

The Apple App Store has opened up a new "Try Before You Buy" section, which offers users the opportunity to test paid apps at no cost.

As Mashable reports, there is a slight catch to the trial period: the free versions of the apps are pared down to "lite" versions of their pay-to-play counterparts. You must purchase the app in order to use all of its features.

The "Try Before You Buy" program does not yet support all the paid apps in the App Store, but users are currently able to test drive 98 apps.
