Landon Donovan slammed home a last minute winner for the United States to send them into the knockout rounds of the World Cup for the first time since 2002, and defeat Algeria 1-0 in thrilling fashion. Donovan's injury-time equalizer capped off a match that saw more controversial referee decisions, and countless spurned opportunities for the Americans. The win means the US finishes at the top of Group C, and will now face the 2nd place finisher in Group D this Saturday, June 26 at 2:30pm EST.
