FINAL FANTASY XIV Gets Release Date

Square Enix announced today that the PC version of FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE will see a global release on September 30, 2010. The Playstation 3 version of the game will be released in March 2011.
The retail price of the PC version is set at $49.99 and comes with a free 30-day trial period, followed by a $12.99/month subscription service. Each account will have one playable character and one non-playable retainer character for in-game item storage. Each additional playable character will cost $3.00/month, and each additional retainer character will be an extra $1.00/month.
