If you've been playing RED DEAD REDEMPTION non-stop since it was released (like me) but still can't get enough of the saga of John Marston, have no fear: on May 29 at midnight, you can tune into Fox and catch the world broadcast premiere of a short film commissioned by Rockstar and directed by Hollywood's own John Hillcoat (THE ROAD, THE PROPOSITION).
As Kotaku points out, this trailer leaves much to be desired, especially when you consider that Rockstar hired a reputable film director to take on the project. Then again, machinima has its limitations; the in-game engine can only give you so much. Although this trailer is rather underwhelming, maybe the final product won't feel like just an extended in-game cinematic. What do you think?
