TNA star Kurt Angle stated on his Twitter page that he will be taking time off after next weekend's Lockdown pay-per-view. "I will be taking some time off for a month to heal up," Angle wrote. Angle followed up by saying he's not taking time off due to injury. "To TNA fans, I am not injured," he wrote. "At Lockdown, I plan on kicking Anderson's ass, then I'm going to relax for a few weeks."
Powell's POV: Angle says he's not injured, yet people within the company have been saying for weeks that he desperately needs some time off to give his body a break. Either way, it's good to see him take some time away from the ring. I'll be covering the Apr. 18 Lockdown pay-per-view live as it airs on Prowrestling.net.
