FANTASY BASEBALL: CARLOS Z SPARES DUGOUT; New Chat Time
|
Apr 11 2010, 5:04 AM
lCarlos Zambrano won for the Cubs today at
Cincinnati, pitching 7 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 walks and 3 earned
runs, while striking out nine for a 4-3 win over the Reds. While it was a
good line for Carlos Z, it wasn’t awesome. But anyone who owns him and
sat through his Opening Day performance of 1 1/3 IP, 8 ER vs. the Braves
will happily take today’s stats. Zambrano is continuing to come across
as Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde.
The Cinergy Field grounds crew in Cincy was relieved, as Zambrano is
known for taking his frustration out on the dugout and clubhouse in a
big way when the pitching disappointments mount…thus, a good day for
all.

Something
suddenly came up, so we’re moving the fantasy baseball chat back to its
original time Sunday at 2pm ET/11am PT this week.
Get
the 4-1-1 this 4/11! We’ll be chatting it up for one hour to answer any
fantasy baseball lineup, trade or injury questions you’ve got. Which
pitchers will start twice in Week 2? Will Jose Reyes be worth starting?
Who is John Bowker? We’ll give you the info you need to be ready for the
second week of the season.
