In response to Geek Girl's 10 Hottest Geek Guys, I think it's only fair that we offer up the 10 Hottest Geek Girls as a counterpoint. Let the debate begin...
Aside from being the most successful female TV comedy writer working today, Fey has always considered herself a "supernerd" all her life. Which is no surprise since everything she's done she's been super at. Yes, we know her resume: A member of Second City in Chicago, head writer for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, creator and star of the Emmy-Award winning 30 ROCK, and star of the new film DATE NIGHT with Steve Carrell -- but did you also know she possesses an extensive knowledge of the STAR WARS movies and recorded the voices of the British and German princesses for Williams' "Medieval Madness" pinball machine? Fey has also been voted as one of PEOPLE magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People In The World. Not bad for a supernerd.
Felicia Day is known for her collaboration with geek-icon Joss Whedon, appearing in BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER TV series. These days she is the star, writer, and producer of the popular web series THE GUILD, the idea for which sprung from her passion for video games and later inspired Whedon's DR. HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG (which she also stars in). She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's of science in mathematics and is a professional-level violinist.
Jessica Chobot exploded onto the geek scene practically overnight when a modeling photo of her appeared online showing her licking a Sony PSP. Chobot caused such an internet sensation that she was soon hired as the new host of IGN's Weekly Show. In addition, she contributes columns, features and reviews and her IGN blog is one of the most visited on the site. Chobot is a weekly guest on Maxim Radio, a former contributor to FHM UK, Mania.com and has made multiple appearances on G4's "Filter" and "Attack of the Show." She has also hosted a videogame preview segment for Fuel TV's, "The Daily Habit," and co-hosts on Lifeskool TV's, "Gamer's Dojo." If this girl isn't wife material, I don't know what is.
Looking for a woman to whisper competing models of String Theory in your ear? Lisa Randall is a leading expert in particle physics and cosmology. She was the first tenured woman in the Princeton University physics department, and the first tenured female theoretical physicist at MIT and Harvard University. In 2007, she was named one of TIME magazine's 100 Most Influential People. She was given the honor for her studies on higher dimensions. Us geeks have read plenty of junk sci-fi novels that deal with multiple dimensions and warped realities, but Randall can actually explain to you how they work. Um...can someone say sexy?
This stunning actress is mainly known for her roles in such films as KIDS, MEN IN BLACK 2, SIN CITY, CLERKS 2, DEATH PROOF, and EAGLE EYE. But she's also a self-proclaimed geek, having created the comic book OCCULT CRIMES TASKFORCE and is apparently such a big STAR TREK fan that she can speak broken Klingon. Adding to her geek-cred is the fact that her uncle is comic book artist Gustavo Vazquez.
Most people know Curry as the first winner of the reality show AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, but geeks know her as the hot lady who occasionally tweets near-naked photos of herself playing WORLD OF WARCRAFT. Curry is a proud geek whose favorite movie of all time is THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING and favorite TV show is BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER. She met her current husband, Christopher Knight (who played Peter Brady on THE BRADY BUNCH) on season 4 of THE SURREAL LIFE. After the show they dated and soon moved in together, instantly settling the age old argument of who is the coolest Brady kid.
Michele Boyd plays Riley in the popular web series THE GUILD. Before capturing the attention of geeks world-wide with her fetching beauty, Boyd earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from the University of California, Davis and also did neuroscience research at Harvard Medical School and the National Institute of Health. She is also avid snowboarder and trained in Hapkido.
Geeks know Olivia Munn as a regular face on the G4 network. And what a face (the body ain't bad either)! She has hosted a number of programs for the network, the most prominent being ATTACK OF THE SHOW! where she discusses and reviews gadgets, video games, movies, pop culture, etc. She has quickly become a geek icon, because there's nothing sexier than a hot girl teaching geeks about geek things.
Most of America knows Rajskub (pronounced rice-cub) as the socially awkward and snappy CTU analyst character of Chloe in the hit Fox show 24, but she has also garnered a cult following for her genre of geek comedy which she performs live with her Girls Guitar Club show. Outside of her acting, where she has appeared in movies like MAGNOLIA and JULIE & JULIA, Rajskub is a self-admitted art lover and can be regularly seen visiting LA's best museums. She also has been writing, painting and exhibiting her works at art shows and art auctions.
Silverman shoots off some of the most offensive comedy imaginable, but yet we instantly forgive her for it because she delivers every punchline with a socially awkward, aw-shucks geek-demeanor. She's worked on plenty of geek-loved shows, like SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, MR. SHOW, THE LARRY SANDERS SHOW, STAR TREK: VOYAGER, GREG THE BUNNY, CRANK YANKERS, FUTURAMA, and ROBOT CHICKEN. Silverman was also featured on the cover of GEEK magazine. But more importantly, the fact that she seriously dated Jimmy Kimmel makes the rest of us geeks feel like we also have a shot.
HONORABLE MENTION: MEGAN FOX
She's no geek, but the fact that she went on record once and said she was looking to date a geek...that's good enough for me.
