Bored? Tired Of Living? Why Not Try Freestyle Alligator Wrestling?

As far as stupid ideas go, this one is pretty far up the table. Way to represent Florida, it's been another banner news week here ... starting with vagina shaving while driving and culminating with a freestyle alligator wrestling tournament. I don't imagine we'll be seeing this on ESPN anytime soon.
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Perhaps most of us might turn and run at the sight of an alligator, but there’s a new trend across Florida where people are actually wrestling the reptiles for sport.
Free style alligator wrestling is not exactly a leisure sport, but it does seem to be gaining an audience.
"These alligator wrestlers are going to jump in there. They're going to show whatever skills they have," said James Holt.
Holt, of the Seminole Tribe of Florida , founded the Hollywood, Florida-based freestyle alligator wrestling competition last year. He said his family has wrestled alligators for generations.
"We do it the way it was done back then. That's what this competition is. We're recreating it as it would have been done in the wild."
I will be curious to hear what my friends at Gatorland Orlando think about this. If you still think this is a good idea, here is some footage from Gatorland of what can happen to an experienced gator handler. I shudder to think what could happen to an untrained, wanna-be wrestler fueled on Dutch courage.
