Metal Blade Records Starting TV Channel

After 28 years as part of the foundation of heavy metal, Metal Blade Records has announced that they will be moving into the world of television, sort of. Don't expect Metal Blade TV to feature reality shows,, re-runs or hip new sitcoms, this channel is all about bringing you the metal.
Metal Blade TV will be a place for metalheads to go and check out interviews, videos, segments and other things from not only Metal Blade artists but also from metal musicians around the world. It's more a place for people to get their metal fix than a massive advertising tool for the label. Remember, Metal Blade has nearly 30 years worth of content and that alone make it worth checking out.
CEO Brian Slagel had this to say:
"We are very excited about the launch of our own TV channel, Metal Blade TV! We are going to bring you not only content from Metal Blade artists, but from the entire world of Heavy Metal. We want to take you behind the scenes and see all the bands in a different way. Also there will be a lot of rare live video clips too! We really hope you enjoy this new venture from Metal Blade Records!"In other Metal Blade news the label has just announced the signing of Return To Earth a band featuring current Coheed & Cambria/former Dillinger Escape Plan drummer Chris Pennie. The hard rock outfit have already finished their new album Automata, which will see release this summer.
