So it appears that Barbie needed a new job, and the nice folks at Reddit campaigned for a "geek job" (which means something totally different at GW headquarters and is way more expensive than I expected when I called the 800 number, but that's not relevant here.)
She's a computer tech! Yeah, I don't know what that means either!
