Alec Baldwin Rushed To Hospital, Rep Says It Was A "Misunderstanding"

Like everyone else, we at GeekWeek hope that Alec makes a full recovery. However, this is one of those times where "representatives" do more harm than good.

Hiltzik said on Baldwin's behalf-- actually leads you to believe there was something more sinister going on ... after all, who throws their own daughter under a bus for no (perceived) good reason?
"30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin was rushed to a Manhattan hospital overnight after a caller believed to be his daughter dialed 911 to say she couldn't rouse the actor.
When medics got to Baldwin's Upper West Side apartment, he agreed to go to the hospital where he was treated and released after about an hour, sources told NBC New York.
Sources said it was Baldwin's daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, Ireland, who made the call, telling an operator Baldwin was unresponsive. Baldwin, who is due to co-host the Academy Awards next month, was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital. The Emmy-winner's condition was not known.
A spokesman for the actor says Baldwin is fine.
