So back in December, Rebellion Games (UK) confirmed that
actor Lance Henriksen (Millenium, Pumpkinhead, The Terminator, The X-Files) had
indeed signed on for their upcoming game, Aliens vs Predator. As evidenced by his MASSIVE imdb,
Henriksen is not only one of the most talented dudes in the biz, he's also voiced some of the most recognizable game titles of the last decade including: Mass Effect (Admiral Hackett), Red Faction II (Molov), Call of
Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (General Shepherd), and of course…the upcoming AVP.
Fans will recognize Henriksen from his roles as
Bishop/Bishop II (Aliens, Alien 3) and Charles Bishop Weyland (AVP: Aliens vs.
Predator) but this time he’s Karl Bishop Weyland, descendent of the afforementioned C.B. Weyland (founder of the infamous Weyland-Yutani Corporation from the Aliens universe). Henriksen lent both face and voice to the role and judging from the render…it's pretty freakin
sweet.
Henriksen approves. “They’ve made me look very good, this is the first time I’ve
been fully represented in a game, with my voice and how I look, and the
Rebellion guys have done a great job. I might score from this game!”
Aliens vs Predator is set to drop February 2010 (*cough*My
Birthday*cough*) for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
