Unlike some of you, my most anticipated film of the foreseeable future isn't something like SHUTTER ISLAND or IRON MAN 2. No, it's got to be GOAT, a little independent film that's currently casting in New York.
Why might that be?
Because it's a movie that combines the charisma and star-power of acting vets like Armand Assante and Ice-T with the fresh intensity of newbie thespians Bronson Arroyo (currently a pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds) and retired Major Leaguer Eduardo Perez.
Wait, whaaaaaa?!
Now they're too "busy" for big movie roles. The stars of
MTV's "Jersey Shore" turned down a role opposite "The Sopranos" legends
William DeMeo and Vincent Pastore because they didn't have time, said a
source. According to an insider, producer Irena Angeliades approached
the show's cast members about cameos in her independent film "Goat."
But, "They replied they would have loved to do it, but they were just
too busy." Instead, Cincinnati Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo and former
MLB player Eduardo Perez will appear in the movie, which also stars
Armand Assante and Ice-T.
