Adult Swim Loses DEATH NOTE and BLOOD +

Cartoon Network's Adult Swim confirmed today that they've lost the rights to DEATH NOTE and BLOOD+. Cartoon Network ended its televised run of DEATH NOTE by showing the anime's last five episodes in a row on early Sunday morning.
DEATH NOTE is an animated series based on the manga of the same title. The manga was created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and artist Takeshi Obata and published in 108 chapters. The animated series was produced by Madhouse into 37 episodes.
BLOOD+ is an animated series inspired by the popular 2000 anime film BLOOD: THE LAST VAMPIRE.
Mike Le is a writer/producer living in Los Angeles. He is also the creator of the webcomic DON'T FORGET TO VALIDATE YOUR PARKING.
