ROCK ME DONKEY KONG JESUS

The 8-bit rivalry between underdog Steve Wiebe and Hot Sauce Pitchman Billy Mitchell was famously documented in The King of Kong, so I was happy to receive this from the desk of Geek Week's Gary Hodges:
Hey dudes,
Apparently,
if you buy a CD of Steve Wiebe's musical stylings before 1/1/2010,
he'll throw in an autographed copy of King of Kong... "while supplies
last".
I ordered mine. And you will too, if you're men of characterIt seems Wiebe's "musical stylings" are Christian soft rock. And from the little bit I heard, it's horrifyingly obnoxious.
BUT, that doesn't change two important facts:
1) Signed King of Kong DVD for peanuts, and
2) Billy Mitchell is a cocksucker.
I couldn't have put it better myself. And while Wiebe only plays piano on tracks like "Behind the Eyes of Faith" (What, no Do The Donkey Kong cover? Sheesh. I mean, you can do it with a partner, but you can also do it all alone), you get...well, you get a Christian soft rock CD, just like Gary said. It might inspire you to find Jesus, or attain the Guinness high score for playing Crystal Castles with your feet. There's salvation in both, I think.
Thanks for the heads up, Gary!
