Emperor Palpatine Gets A Pimp Chair

Sideshow Collectibles recently announced plans to release two brand new figures in their 12-inch Star Wars line of figures and one really cool chair. First up, they've got a rad looking Emperor Palpatine figure complete with more points of articulation than the old man deserves and long flowing cloth robes. Plus, if you order the Sideshow Exclusive version, you'll get an extra head. See, that one is sneering, while the regular one is just mildly perturbed.
Meanwhile, you'll also be able to add the Emperor's chair to your collection, which might not sound very cool in theory, but just think about how nice Palpatine will look sitting there in the shadows of your bookshelf, planning, plotting and scheming your demise. The chair will fit any of Sideshow's 12-inch figures, so pick up a bunch and set up your very own boardroom of awesome.
And, if you need one more figure to add to that boardroom, feel free to order yourself the 41st Elite Corps. Coruscant Clone Trooper complete with big ass gun and a 41st Elite Corps. stand (though that's only if you get the Sideshow Exclusive version). Both figures will be available in the spring of 2010, while the chair won't be out until the summer. All three are available to order now.
